In every case, a dryer should be used. Pure air-drying is not recommended because the down might start to mould if it takes too long to sufficiently dry.
Dry one jacket at a time for best results.
Place the Eleven Elfs dryer ball or a clean tennis ball in the dryer to help break up any clumps and re 'fluff' the down.
It's better to put the jacket into the dryer once too many rather than once too few, otherwise the process will need to be repeated.
Do not dry at a temperature that is overly hot (max. 30°C).
Do not use a hair dryer because it may damage the shell fabric when the temperature is too high.
Put some (clean!) tennis balls into the drum. These will work perfectly to fluff up the down during drying.
After one hour in the dryer, take the jacket out and let it cool down. During this time, shake it vigorously a couple of times.
Then the whole process starts anew – and is repeated until the jacket is completely dry.
