ELEVEN ELFS gives the gift of warmth December 16 2015
As we approach the winter months ahead, we’ve recognized that this time of year can be especially difficult for some families.
Thanks to organizations like The Children’s Breakfast Clubs, these families have access to the support their children need to thrive. They provide a safe place for before-school care, a nutritious meal and a warm and caring environment where children can feel safe and supported.
ELEVEN ELFS was excited to take part in this year’s Egg Creation Cooking Competition – an annual fundraiser to raise funds for Breakfast Clubs across the GTA. There was no shortage of excitement as the corporate teams vied for the title of “The Children’s Breakfast Clubs Champion”.
Together with Breakfast Television’s Jennifer Valentyne, ELEVEN ELFS gifted 19 beautiful down outerwear pieces to the Children's Breakfast Clubs. Katrin Pettinen, Director of Sales & Merchandising was on hand for the event and shared how "we are so happy to [donate], knowing that it goes to teenagers in need". See video coverage here.
In addition to a warm meal, having warm outerwear can mean the world to families in need. We ask that if you replace your winter jacket, you consider donating your gently used one to an organization of your choosing that can distribute to a family in need. It’s not too late to give the gift of warmth this season!
